Carl Schlademan

Photo of Carl SchlademanCanadian artist, Carl Schlademan developed an early love for nature stimulated by his innate curiosity and sense of adventure. He has developed a strong following and gained considerable acclaim for his masterful paintings of beautifully rendered landscapes and intriguing still life.

Carl is a very versatile artist, being prolific in various media and subjects, although he has a preference for acrylics. His themes range from landscapes and still life to award-winning equine, portraits and wildlife. His innovative approach to these subjects has made him an excellent choice for commission work, and earned him a place in both private and corporate collections throughout Europe, South Africa, China, the United States and Canada.

Of particular note are Carl's deeply moving and enchanting waterlily and garden paintings. Carl has the ability to take a classical still life study and do a completely new contemporary take on it.
