| Margaret Dempster is a painter in oil, of portraits, portrait miniatures and flowers. She studied at the Royal Institution, Edinburgh, Scotland and in Paris, France. She married R B Nisbet and left Edinburgh in 1998 and moved to Comrie, and in 1904, moved to Crieff. She exhibited "A Portrait of a Lady" at the Royal Academy in 1891. | |||||
