Harry Goffey
HARRY GOFFEY 1871-1951.
Born in Liverpool. Studied under Sir Hubert von Herkomer and Chelsea Polytechnic. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and elsewhere. The British Museum holds his work. He lived in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. According to family, he later opened a studio at Bushey, north of London, where a number of artists worked with him colouring book illustrations by hand.
