CAMERON OGILVIE
Mr. Cameron Ogilvie was born in Scotland in 1940. Following the completion of his general education there, he pursued a three year program in the Glasgow School of Art.Even prior to graduation, his talent became apparent, and he
enjoyed private sales of a number of his paintings. In 1963 Mr. Ogilvie immigrated to Canada, and taking up residence in Calgary, there met and married his Canadian born wife.He continued art studies in Calgary by part time attendance at Southern Alberta
Institute of Technology, over a two year period.Also, he received private tutoring in art from Mr. John Byrne of Kensington Studios for a period of a year. Once again, his artistic skills enjoyed gratifying recognition, and his paintings were hung both
by the Schelling Gallery of Calgary, and also the World of Art.Mr. Ogilvie now lives in Oliver, British Columbia.
