Originally from Lethbridge, Alberta, Teri Paul now lives here in Kelowna painting, hiking and and adventuring through the B.C forests. Teri draws her inspiration from the outdoors and traditional landscapes as she pushes and pulls wet paint to create the impressions of subject matter rather than directly painting concrete forms. Paul is known for her loose, gestural pieces, blurring the line between reality and imagined reality. Her works play with spaces and light, in layers of thick paint as she aims to capture the Okanagan's spirit.
“I am inspired by artists who can capture and communicate their personal and creative response to our beautiful earth.”
